Collection: Friedrich Nietzsche Prints
Friedrich Nietzsche (1844–1900) wrote philosophy as if it were music: short, rhythmic aphorisms that land harder than most arguments. Thus Spoke Zarathustra, Beyond Good and Evil and Twilight of the Idols are the sources for most of the lines here, on becoming who you are, on suffering and strength, and on why life needs music.
The prints carry the German original only, and the English translation is on the product page; a few lines best known in English, and one in Latin, appear that way. These are prints for a desk, a studio or a home gym rather than a nursery. The type is spare and unornamented, which suits the voice.
