You must never be fearful about what you are doing when it… — Rosa Parks | Printable Wall Art

“You must never be fearful about what you are doing when it is right.”

Words by Rosa Parks (1913-2005) — Civil rights activist.

About this quote

This quote speaks to moral clarity and quiet conviction. It suggests that when your actions are guided by justice and fairness, fear should not dictate your choices. True courage is not the absence of anxiety, but the belief that doing the right thing matters more than the risk or discomfort involved. It encourages us to stand firm in our principles despite opposition.

Rosa Parks recorded this reflection in her writings on the civil rights movement, published in her 1994 book Quiet Strength, encapsulating her enduring philosophy of principled resistance.

People often hang this print in a study or home office to inspire quiet strength and daily integrity.
