Wherever you are, be all there. — Jim Elliot | Printable Wall Art

“Wherever you are, be all there.”

Words by Jim Elliot (1927-1956) — American missionary and writer.

About this quote

This line encourages total presence of mind. It asks us to give our full attention to the current moment, task, or person, rather than letting our thoughts wander elsewhere. Instead of living half-heartedly or constantly looking ahead to the next thing, we are reminded to engage deeply with where we find ourselves right now.

This statement comes from the personal journals of Jim Elliot, written while he was a college student in the late 1940s. His widow, Elisabeth Elliot, later published his writings, helping the phrase reach a wider audience.

People often hang this print in a home office or study to encourage focus and mindful attention during work.
