Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. — Bible | Printable Wall Art

“Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

Words by Bible — Galatians 6:7.

About this quote

This line expresses the law of cause and effect in human behaviour. Just as a farmer harvests the specific crop they plant, people ultimately experience the consequences of their choices. Positive actions and kindness yield good outcomes, whereas neglect or bad intentions lead to hardship. It serves as a timeless reminder of personal accountability, integrity, and the lasting impact of daily decisions.

This passage comes from the New Testament, specifically Saint Paul's Epistle to the Galatians, written in the first century. The King James Bible translation rendered the agricultural metaphor into this enduring English phrasing, which became a foundational moral proverb.

People often hang this in a home office or study as a daily reminder of personal responsibility.
