What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as… — Zig Ziglar | Printable Wall Art

“What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.”

Words by Zig Ziglar (1926-2012) — Motivational speaker and author.

About this quote

This quote shifts the focus of personal ambition from external rewards to internal growth. While material success or titles are pleasing, the true value of setting and reaching targets lies in the character, discipline, and resilience developed along the way. The process shapes who you are, which endures far longer than any specific prize or temporary achievement.

Popularised by the American motivational speaker and author Zig Ziglar, this sentiment appears across his twentieth-century books and seminars. It reflects his core philosophy that personal development is the ultimate foundation for lasting success.

People often hang this print in a home office or study to encourage personal growth during daily work.
