Che sarà, sarà. — Italian Proverb | Printable Wall Art

“Che sarà, sarà.”
“What will be, will be.”

A traditional Italian saying, set as gallery-quality typographic wall art.

About this quote

This proverb expresses a philosophy of quiet acceptance regarding the future. It suggests that certain events lie beyond personal control, so worrying about upcoming outcomes is ultimately futile. Rather than promoting helplessness, the line encourages a sense of calm resilience, reminding us to focus on the present moment while allowing the future to unfold in its own time.

Originating as a traditional Italian proverb, this phrase appeared in English heraldry as early as the sixteenth century. It gained widespread global recognition after featuring in the 1956 song performed by Doris Day.

People often hang this print in hallways or living rooms as a gentle reminder to release daily worries.
