Was aus Liebe getan wird, geschieht immer jenseits von Gut und Böse. — Friedrich Nietzsche | Printable Wall Art

“Was aus Liebe getan wird, geschieht immer jenseits von Gut und Böse.”
“What is done out of love always happens beyond good and evil.”

Words by Friedrich Nietzsche (1844-1900) — German philosopher.

About this quote

Nietzsche suggests that actions driven by genuine love operate outside traditional moral categories. Rather than adhering to conventional ideas of right and wrong, love creates its own imperative. When a choice stems from deep affection, standard ethical judgements become secondary, as the motivation transcends the social rules that usually define human behaviour and morality.

This line appears as Aphorism 153 in Friedrich Nietzsche's 1886 work, Beyond Good and Evil. It reflects his critique of traditional morality and his interest in human motivations that exist outside established social structures.

People often hang this print near a bedside or study desk for quiet reflection on love and human devotion.
