Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto… — Bible | Printable Wall Art

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding.”

Words by Bible — Proverbs 3:5.

About this quote

This verse encourages complete faith in God rather than relying solely on human reason. It suggests that personal intellect and limited perspectives are often flawed, whereas divine wisdom offers true guidance. By surrendering self-reliance and trusting a higher power, one finds inner peace, clarity, and direction through life's uncertainties and difficult choices.

This line comes from the Old Testament Book of Proverbs, specifically chapter three, verse five. Traditionally associated with King Solomon, these ancient Hebrew sayings were compiled over centuries to offer practical and spiritual guidance for daily living.

People often hang this print in a home office or bedroom to provide calm reassurance during thoughtful moments.
