About this quote

This statement expresses an ideal of true equality, where individuals are evaluated solely on their moral integrity, actions, and personal qualities rather than their racial background. It calls for a society that looks beyond superficial physical differences to value a person's intrinsic worth, encouraging fairness, mutual respect, and the complete dismantling of racial prejudice in everyday life.

Martin Luther King Jr. delivered this line during his famous 'I Have a Dream' speech at the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom in August 1963. It became an enduring expression of the American civil rights movement.

People often hang this print in classrooms or home studies to inspire daily principles of fairness and respect.
