Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage… — Winston Churchill | Printable Wall Art

“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”

Words by Winston Churchill (1874-1965) — British Prime Minister who led the UK through World War II.

About this quote

This quote reminds us that neither triumph nor defeat is a permanent state. Achieving a goal does not mean the work is over, just as a setback does not mark the end of your story. True character lies in the determination to keep going, learning from both progress and mistakes without letting either define your long-term effort.

Although widely attributed to Winston Churchill, there is no official record of him saying these exact words. The popular line appears to have evolved from early twentieth-century advertising slogans and public speeches about resilience.

People often hang this print in a home office or study to encourage persistence during challenging work.
