Love is patient, love is kind. — Bible | Printable Wall Art

“Love is patient, love is kind.”

Words by Bible — 1 Corinthians 13:4.

About this quote

This classic passage defines love not as a temporary feeling, but as a conscious set of actions and attitudes. It suggests that genuine affection requires endurance, gentle understanding, and selflessness. Rather than demanding quick results or reacting in anger, true love chooses quiet tolerance and active goodwill towards others, placing their well-being alongside or above one's own.

Taken from the New Testament, this verse forms part of the Apostle Paul's first letter to the Christian community in Corinth, written around the mid-first century. It remains one of the most famous descriptions of love in Western literature.

People often display this print in a bedroom or living room as a gentle daily reminder of compassion.
