“If you work just for money, you'll never make it, but if you love what you're doing and you always put the customer first, success will be yours.”

About this quote

Financial gain alone is a poor long-term motivator. True achievement relies on genuine passion for your work and an unyielding commitment to serving others. When you focus on delivering exceptional value to the customer and enjoying the daily process, financial rewards naturally follow. Success is framed not as a target to chase directly, but as the byproduct of devotion and excellent service.

Ray Kroc built the modern McDonald's Corporation through a relentless focus on efficiency and consistency. This line reflects his core philosophy on entrepreneurship, widely cited in business literature to illustrate his customer-centric approach to building a global brand.

People often hang this in a home office or workshop to keep service and passion at the centre of daily work.
