Ich habe keine besondere Begabung, sondern bin nur leidenschaftlich neugierig. — Albert Einstein | Printable Wall Art

“Ich habe keine besondere Begabung, sondern bin nur leidenschaftlich neugierig.”
“I have no special talent, I am only passionately curious.”

Words by Albert Einstein (1879-1955) — Theoretical physicist.

About this quote

Einstein downplays his extraordinary intellect, suggesting that his achievements stem from a relentless desire to learn rather than an innate gift. The quote encourages us to value deep curiosity and persistent questioning above passive aptitude. True understanding comes from an earnest, lifelong impulse to ask why things are the way they are.

Einstein wrote this line in German in a letter to his biographer Carl Seelig on 11 March 1952, reflecting humbly on his own mind late in life.

People often hang this print in a home office, library, or classroom to inspire daily learning and curiosity.
