Chi ha tempo non aspetti tempo. — Italian Proverb | Printable Wall Art

“Chi ha tempo non aspetti tempo.”
“He who has time should not wait for time.”

A traditional Italian saying, set as gallery-quality typographic wall art.

About this quote

This classic maxim warns against procrastination. It suggests that when you have the opportunity and moment to act, you should take it immediately rather than assuming future time will be available. Time is an unpredictable resource, so using the present moment wisely prevents missed chances, wasted effort, and regret later on.

As a traditional Italian proverb, its precise origins are unrecorded. It has circulated across Italy for centuries as a popular folk saying, recorded in numerous regional idiom collections and literary works on vernacular wisdom.

People often hang this in a home office or study to encourage prompt action and steady productivity.
