Either you run the day, or the day runs you. — Jim Rohn | Printable Wall Art

“Either you run the day, or the day runs you.”

Words by Jim Rohn (1930-2009) — Motivational speaker and author.

About this quote

This quote is a call to take control of your time through active choice rather than passive reaction. If you do not plan your schedule and set clear priorities, the demands of other people and unforeseen events will dictate your daily life. Taking charge requires discipline, focus, and the resolve to master your routines before they master you.

American entrepreneur and motivational speaker Jim Rohn popularised this phrase during his seminars and published works in the late twentieth century. It became one of his most widely quoted maxims on personal discipline and time management.

People often hang this print in a home office or study as a daily reminder to stay focused.
