Don't aim for success if you want it; just do what you… — David Frost | Printable Wall Art

“Don't aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.”

Words by David Frost (1939-2013) — British broadcaster and journalist.

About this quote

This quote suggests that chasing success directly often leads to frustration because external achievements are unpredictable outcomes. Instead, true accomplishment stems from dedicating oneself to genuine passions and personal convictions. When you focus on meaningful work that brings personal fulfilment, excellence and recognition tend to follow as a natural byproduct rather than an elusive goal.

Sir David Frost, the renowned British broadcaster and journalist, offered this advice reflecting his long career in media. It became a widely cited observation on personal ambition, published in modern motivational anthologies and retrospective collections of his thoughts.

People often hang this print in a home office or study to stay focused on meaningful work.
