Bolje ikad nego nikad. — Croatian Proverb | Printable Wall Art

“Bolje ikad nego nikad.”
“Better late than never.”

A traditional Croatian saying, set as gallery-quality typographic wall art.

About this quote

This classic saying reminds us that completing a task, making amends, or pursuing a goal late is far preferable to giving up entirely. While promptness is ideal, delay should not become an excuse for inaction. The phrase offers gentle encouragement to anyone who feels they have missed their ideal window, reassuring them that taking action now still holds genuine value.

This traditional Croatian proverb reflects a timeless moral found across many European cultures. Though similar phrasing appears in ancient Roman texts and medieval literature, this specific Croatian expression has long been used as a popular everyday maxim.

People often hang this print in a home office or study to motivate themselves to finish delayed tasks.
